Obituary for Ann Gay Blakeney Duvall
Ann Gay Blakeney Duvall, 80, of Aiken, SC, formerly of Quinby, SC, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Duvall was born in Pageland, SC, the daughter of L. Roy and Elizabeth Gay Blakeney. Mrs. Duvall graduated from Hartsville High School and attended Coker College. She moved to Quinby in 1973 and was active at Christ Episcopal Church and Quinby United Methodist Church, serving as organist at each church.

Mrs. Duvall is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Gay (Bill) Rose of Aiken, SC and Stephanie (Jeff) Jefferson of Simpsonville, SC; son, Garland W. (Cathy) Duvall of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren, Tanya (Matt) Lawless, Jeremy Vice and Walker Jefferson; great-granddaughter, Mara Lawless; and sister-in-law, Beth Blakeney.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, G. Walker Duvall; her brother, William R. Blakeney and her best friend, Otis E. Thomason.

Memorials may be made to Christ Church Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 15036, Quinby, SC 29506 or Quinby United Methodist Church, 1247 E. Ashby Road, Quinby, SC 29506.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Christ Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
