Another name for Elisabeth was Eliza.3

  General Notes:

A reference on Genforum shows Eliza Bower was married to Donald Sutherland, however this is an error. A letter from her brother John to her brother William clearly states that Eliza died as an infant.

There is an unnamed Bowers burial, father John, on 4 Feb 1794 in Aberdeen. This fits with the information described in the letter above, and therefore was used for the death of Elisabeth Bower. 4 6

  Baptism Notes:

She was baptized in St. Nicholas Church, formerly the East Church by Dr. Shaw. The witnesses were Dr. William Chalmers and William Robinson.
